Reticence : Evil or Good

Of late I have seen and read much on the importance of expression . Express yourself has been the Tag line of Airtel , one of the leading telecommunication company . But is it necessary to express ? I beg to differ . Everyday , we meet almost a fixed number of people . We exchange pleasantries ,the formal hi , hello , bye etc . We say good morning , shake hand and many other things . Words like all the best , congrats have become part and parcel of modern lingua . These are uttered , even when we mean otherwise , although it is not the case always . Many time congratulatory messages are said with well intended meaning . Some of us tend to feel offended , if they are not wished say for example on birthdays .
Let us not go into debate that it is right or not . Every individual has his own thinking . I just want to present my case here . I am not the kind of individual who believe in such kind of ritual . Of course , I also want that my friends , well wishers always succeed in their venture . I , too feel delighted when they achieve something . Only thing is I am reticent . I believe that if they know me well enough ,they wont' mind it . And , If because of my reticence somebody has been offended , I am really sorry . So , next time if you are venturing to achieve something , remember there is one who is always wishing you the best .
