Freindship Day ETC

Today is friendship day . One more excuse for partying and raving . Time to reminisce the Good Old Days , to travel down your memory lane and recall the naughty summer afternoon when you sneaked into your neighbor's house with your best friend to get a taste of succulent mango , or many such indelible experiences . It is the day when you can give a call or leave a message to some of your friends who you have not contacted off late due to whatever reason .

But, due to some strange reason I don't believe in celebrating 'days' . For me , a part of each day is friendship day , a part is father's day , a part is mother's day . If you feel like talking to your friend sharing some feelings with them , talk to them at that time man! If you cares about your parent , it reflects in your daily attitude towards them .  That's why in Indian culture there was no place for such mother or father day .  Its' just the concept of the Americans , who live in nuclear family , are disinterested in their parents whole year , and pour their feeling on a single day . 

Also the now-a-days  too many days are being celebrated , for instance after father's and mothr's day there  was  parents' day  last Sunday . Numerous just days are being institutionalised , by strong lobby of cards and gift companies to boost their sale . Hypes are created about such days through media , and Genx in persuit of being hip and updated starts observing these days. 

But , let me clear one thing . I am not a Shiv Sainik or a RSS member or advocate of 'moral police' . If you feel like celebrating , do it and why not . But as far as  I  am concerned  , I need just on day " Be YOURSELF Day "

Indian Politicians : Epitome of Demagoguery

In the recent Controversy over the political brawl in the UP , what has taken the back seat ? The rape victim and the rapist . The state of anarchy in the UP . Nobody is talking about these issues .
Now , Mayawati and Rita Bahuguna Joshi are hogging all the lime light .
After the incendiary remarks made by the UPCC chief ,the arsonists set her home on fire causing her irreperable loss of 'property' . She was booked under some act meant to protect SC / ST . She has vowed to fight the legal battle in the court . What she said about Mayawati was truly a lewid remark . What was more shocking that it was uttered by a woman . But the aftereffect was more culpable .
Firstly , the IPC under which she was booked was inappropriate . What Mrs Joshi said to malign her was not because She is a Dalit , but because she was the CM of the stae . How Mayawati can boast that she is the unanimous leader of all dalit in the state leave alone the whole country ?
Secondly , why the arsonist were given free hand ? Even the CM house is at few metre from Joshi's house and not a single police man reached there . The MLA , whose name is in the FIR , filed by Mrs joshi , was rewarded as Mayawati appointed her as the chief of UP suger Corporation .
Thirdly and most importantly , what right had The DGP to reimburse the rape victim or even a murder victim , when the Police machinery heade by him has failed to curb the violence . The tradition of reimbrusement was stared to help people who were victim of natural calamity . How can a rape victim be reimbursed by paying them any sum of money , leave alone Rs 25 , 000 as the case was . What was guarantey that , esp in hindi heartland , their relative won't take the money as soon as the Dgp's chopper took off .
Lastly , what moral right has Ms mayawati to react so violenly , when she had given same stament about Mr Mulyam singh yadav . here are the two statement it is up to you to decide .

Reacting to disbursement of compensation to rape victims in the state Rita said in Moradabad on July 15

Aaj uttar pradesh ka DGP helicopter se udke gaon gaon jata hai … kehta hai tumhari beti ke saath balatkar hua hai … yeh lo pacchis hazaar rupiya … tumhare bete/beti ke saath hatya ho gayi … yeh lo pacchas hazaar…sattar hazaar ….arrey mein kehti hoon yeh paisa Mayawati ke mooh par maar … aur ussasey bolo ki Mayawati agar tere saath balatkar hua toh mein Rs 1 crore dungi ….

What Maya said in January 2007 during election campaign?

Aaj Muslim Samaj pooch raha hai Mulayam Singh Yadav se…. Mulayam Singh Yadav tumhari beti nahi hai…tunhare bhai, bhateeje, rishtedaar ki to hogi … yadi uska balatkaar ham karwadeti hain… yeh Muslim Samaj kahta hai … Toh…yedi unki balatkar ki qimat two lakh hai to .hum Rs 4 lakh denge….

Mayawati had made these remarks following rape of a Muslim girl in Allahabad in January 2007 in which the then Yadav government had given Rs two lakh compensation.

Thus what is elicited here is , all the politician are demagouge . They only know to evoke people emotion for meagre political gain . Nobody is interested in me or you . Indian politics is going to dogs ..

Pain Is Good....

Pain is indispensable part of human life . It is interwoven in life like anything , but most of us abominate it . But with risk of being termed as masochist I say that pain is as quintessential to life as is happiness .
When was the last time , you remembered God ? Obviously , when you were distressed and dolorous . As grave is our grief , so strong is our invocation and prayer .We even bribe or at least try to bribe God to get respite from pain . We are that much selfish , aren't we ? Once pain is assuaged , our devotion stars fading . Thus pain takes us closer to Him .
When grief strikes , we tend to think outlandish . Let me tell you a real life incident . I met one of my cousin in the last summer vacation . He is a simple carefree guy . When I met him this year , I was pleasantly surprised to know that he has cleared CAT , and was ready to join IIM Lucknow .I was even more awestruck to know the reason behind his decision to appear in CAT . he told me that he fell for a girl from Kolkata . Despite his numerous persuasion , the girl didn't yield . Naturally , he was grievous . In state of grief , instead of resorting to alcohol or other intoxication , he decided to prepare for CAT , so that he could stay at Kolkata , by joining the IIM for persuading the girl some more .
While preparing , his feeling for her ebbed . Though, he couldn't join IIM Kolkata ,he got a seat at the IIM Lucknow . Thus pain has given him a much coveted place at an IIM . So , Pain can give us lot . What needed , is to culvert the anger aroused by pain in right direction . There is an old adage " No pain , No gain " . I just want to add that the more accute is the pain , the more bigger is the gain .

Bizarre Thought In Idyllic Time

It is really very interesting to know that most bizarre of the thoughts occupies our mind when we have nothing to do . Such an idea came to my mind when I watching India being ousted by England in the T20 world cup .
What is common between Indian Cricket Team , Manchester United , Rafel Nadal ? Couldn't find any ? Let me tell you . All were reigning Champion in their respective field , and were unsuccessful in their campaign to defend their title . Man U lost their bid of being the only team to defend the Champions league title ,and lost to Barca which co,pleted hatrick of title this year. Nadal lost to Soderling in one of the Biggest Upset of the recent tennis . He is also out of Wimbeldon because of injury . So it is clear that he will be unable to defend sw19 title too . Similarly , India lost its plot and was out of T20 cup amid talk that all was not well between Dhoni and Sehwag .
But , Politcs is a different ball game . This year has augered well for the incumbent poitical parties .
In India Mr Singh is still king , albiet much stronger than his previous term . In the election of european parliament all the reigning parties have won barrin Labor Party in England . In France , Sarkozy won despite allegation that mrs Carla Brown is pulling the strings behind the scene . same is case with Italian PM mr Burcolini , who despite the allrgation of him being dallaying with an 18 yr old Blonde cme out of flying colors . In Iran Mr Ahmedinijad has regained Power amid controversies . Thus , incumbent survived this year .
But now after another thought just cropped in my mimnd . Arent' these a pretext for Consoling myself after India and BJP lost thir battle in Cricket and politics respectively .

Challenges before Government

The month of MAY saw many important events which will be remembered forever in the annals of History . The culmination of 15th Lok sabha election , dismantling of The LTTE , completion of the
2nd edition of IPL are the few to name .
The victory of UPA in the recently concluded General Election didn't surprised the psephologists , but the margin of victory did . The young India voted for stability . After Such a faith reposed in the Congress led UPA , the government now have an onerous task to gratify the need of the people
. The most important task in fornt of the new regime is to insulate the country from great economic depression and take it on the path of prsperity . It has to create new employment opprtunity for the youths.
The second task is to overhaul the beaurocracy which has been rated one of the inefficient in a recent survey. No matter what walfare scheme the government formulates , it will be worthless
if the rule of red tape isn't ended.Government should implement the recoomendetion of the Second Adminstrative reform committee.
It is also a high time , that Government should try to judicial sytem . Judges are also human and liable to corruption . THe Law should also be brought under servelliance of law . The corruption in judiciary has recently been exopsed by a section of media .
The situation in our nieghbourhood is also very volatile . Sri Lanka has just come out of war . In Nepal , the anti indian feeling is increasing . A spate of attack by pro Taliban terrorists has excarbated already worse situation in Pakistan . So government should deal these matter with a dplomatic prudence .
Youth are restless in nature . They have voted UPA to power . Which has not been accomplished in 60 years should be done in 5 year , otherwise 2014 is not far Mr Singh. Till then your the King....

Holi , Birthday & a Wish

Hi Folks
Its' night again . I am literally alone in my half of lobby . Thought started travelling in my mind again . Its' not that I am bored . I am enjoying it .Today is Holi - the festival of color . Celebration is on every card . But nothing so special for me . I will be waiting for Gulal . If it comes ok , if it doesn't no problem .
Coincidentally today is my birthday too . Again no special plans . I have enjoyed my birthday party in advance . One more thing . Many people take it otherwise if their friends forget to wish them on their birthday , not me . I know that those who had always have good wishes for me must have some reason for not doing so . One of the reason is I have no medium on which they can wish . They can forget too. But , it doesn't mean they don't care for me any more . So no ill feelings .
As they say , wishes are fulfilled on the birthday .I have a small one too . Many times I get some news which is not related to me directly . If I don't get them , I am fine . But if I receive them , it starts irking my mind , as I have said earlier on this platform . This pain I can't share with anyone . So it hurts even more . So ,please don't break news like that to me .
Finally , A Happy Holi full of all colours of love to you . Celebrate it in right spirit..
