THEY SAY "NOBODY KNOWS WHEN TRAGEDY WILL STRIKE." NEITHER DID CITIZENS OF TROY, NOR DID THE MAKERS OF TITANIC , NOR DID THE USA . SO WHO AM I ? IT HAS BEEN RIGHTEOUSLY SAID THAT GOD HAS HIS OWN PLAN AND HE CONDUCTS IN HIS OWN WAY.
WHEN I ENTERED THE CAMPUS OF BIT MESRA AFTER MAKING IT IN SECOND COUNSELING , I WAS IN A JOLLY MOOD. EVEN THE LONG QUEUE NEAR THE ADMISSION COUNTER WAS NOT IRRITATING ME. LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT ITS MATTER OF MINUTE THAT SOME UNPLEASANT THING IS GOING TO HAPPEN. THE MAN AT COUNTER ASKED ME TO SHOW THE RECIEPT OF GRAFT I SUBMITTED DURING 1 ST COUNSELING.HOLY SHIT! I FORGOT TO BRING THE RECIEPT.HERE COMES THE TRAGEDY. I THOUGHT I I WILL WITHDRAW MONEY FROM THE SBI ATM AND MAKE A DRAFT IN THE BANK IN THE CAMPUS ITSELF.BUT WHAT THE F**K, THE ATM WAS OUT OF CASH . FELLOW BITIANS WILL AGREE THAT THIS ATM RUNS OUT OF CASH WHENEVER ONE NEEDS IT THE MOST. ANYWAY I DECIDED TO GO TO THE NEAREST ATM AND BRING OUT MONEY FOR THAT.RIDING ON THE ROOF OF A TRACKER I REACHED APOLLO I TOOK MONEY AND REACHED THE UCO BANK IN THE CAMPUS AND ASKED TO MAKE DD. ANOTHER PROBLEM.. IT WAS 2 PM ALREADY AND THEY REFUSED TO MAKE DD.O GOSH ! I WAS COMPLETELY SCREWED UP. I WENT TO THE CLERK AT R&D AND TOLD MY PROBLEM. HE ADVISED ME TOO MEET THE DEAN OF ADMISSIONS. WHEN I ENQUIRED ABOUT HIM I FOUND THAT HE WAS AT ADMISSIONS OFFICE. I REACHED THE ADMISSION OFFICE ONLY TO FIND THAT HE HAD LEFT FOR THE R&D.AGAIN I REACHED R&D BUT PEOPLE THERE TOLD ME THAT HE IS IN ADMISSION OFFICE.TIME WAS RUNNING OUT & SO WAS MY PETIENCE.AFTER COMPLETING 4 ROUND OF R&D AND ADD OFFICE IFOUND HIM.
HE TOLD ME TO GET MY RECIEPT FAXED.BUT AGAIN ANOTHER PROBLEM.............THE POWER NEARBY MY HOUSE HAD FAILED THAT DAY BRCAUSE OF RAIN.....SO NO FAX....
OH! GOD! TOTALLY OUT OF MY MIND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.. IWENT TO THE DEAN AND PLEADED HIM FOR HALF AN HOUR ENDLEESLY.AFTER SO MUCH TRAUMA GOD HAS HAD SOME PITY ON ME AND THE DEAN JUST AGREED TO ALLOW ME TO TAKE ADMISSION.. SO JUST 5 MIN BEFORE CLOUSERE OF ENTIRE ADN=MISSION PROCESS I GOT ADMITTED IN BIT MESRA.THE TIME WAS 4:55 PM. THIS WAS PERFECT
ENDING OF QUITE IMPERFECT DAY.

Right now my Vth sem exam are over . Normally I should be happy that exam are over. But because of some unknown reason I am not elated.I am confused like anything. Actually I do not know what I want.There is some strange mood swing in me.Never felt like that before.I have always been a happy go lucky kinda person.But now I don't know which second I will Be happy & which second not.Even during my exam I felt like laughing that too without any reason. Also at a time Iwas eating & certainly felt like disliking food.I don't know why.I was never confused like that . Just feeling blue .
Actually I don't know what is my aim in life or what I want from it. I think ime has come to make decision & change little bit.But I don't know right now what to do.... I hpoe that I will soon overcome the situation , hope that it won't be too late ,hope that UNDERDOG will arrive finally. So people beware UNDERDOG will arrive in 2009 . May the next year be the year of UNDERDOGS ! .

THE OBAMA VICTROY & ITS AFTERMATH
The victory of Barack Hussien Obama in the recently concluded Presidential Election in the USA has already created a history.The election of Obama , a person of mixed ethnicity and of such young age , is representative of 21st century America in particular and whole world in general. Obama's super cool attitude, clarity of ideas on most of the complex situations like terrorism , economy , global warming was widely accepted by the common American ,as he won by a comprehensive margin, actually the biggest since 1996. His rational outlook comes from his upbringing in varied cultures and country like Indonesia & which blossomed in Ivy League campuses like Columbia & Harvard. He has even done community services in Chicago & became senator when he won a seat to The Senate in 1966 from Illinois. The inspiring journey that began from Jakarta culminated in Grant Park , Chicago ,where he gave his victory speech.
When Obama resumes his office in White House on January 20 , whole world will be looking to him with great hope and anxiety , how he delivers.At the time when the US is facing the twin heat of economic crisis and terrorism , it will require farsightedness and smart leadership to bring the US out of such crunch situation. Then there is problem of global warming & other climatic problems. The war in Afghanistan has been going on for more than the duration of World War without much success. The war in Iraq is turning out a grave one too. Obama admitted that the war in Iraq diverted US attention from the terrorist who attacked WTO .So it Will be a challenge for him to conclude Iraq war & that too in a way that not mar the US prestige in the world. He also indicated that focus will shift on the Afghanistan war. But even bigger challenge in front of Obama is to pull out his country from the grave Financial Crisis.Both these challenges are extraordinary and it will require equally extraordinary skill to tackle them.
For India , his role in the Senate on the nuke deal was certainly a negative sign. His statement about active involvement to find a solution for Kashmir issue created concern in New Delhi. His outsourcing policy was also a unwelcome in Indian market.Now when the issue of nuke deal has been solved , Obama has got a rare opportunity of keeping his reservation aside and work with India in many field like global warming ,health ,agriculture and of course IT.
If Obama passes the test of time , he will be in the same league of Great US presidents like Franklin Roosevelt ,Abraham Lincoln ,JFK. Otherwise he will be remembered only as first black US president in the history book. I hope he will live his campaign slogan.
